I left my cabin Saturday morning on a trip to a town not so far away - Lourdes. I've know about Lourdes since I was eight or nine years old and I was extremely keen on seeing the grotto where Bernadette had her 18 visions of Our Lady of Lourdes. The weather was great as I left Le Houga behind me and passed through Aire sur Adour and onto the A65 toll road that would take me into the "Haute Pyrenees" - high foothills of the Pyrenees mountain range - where Lourdes is located. It's been a while since I had been on the road in cool weather headed towards the mountains.
